Sure, this device might be released a year ago and is a bit bulky compared to other < 5″ devices. But now Allpmp started selling the BenQ S6 MID for $349.99/€242.49, which is a whole lot less than the €429 when it was released in Italy and about half the price of comparable devices. For this money you’ll get an UMPC with an 800MHz Intel Atom processor, 512MB RAM, 2GB Flash memory, Wifi, a 4.8″ 800×480 touchscreen and UMTS/HSDPA for some good ol’ 3G browsing on the go. It even has a motion sensor, so it’s possible to perform awesome actions, like scrolling a webpage by tilting the device and uhh… other stuff. While it’s far from a powerhouse, the x86 processor means you can install Windows XP on this little device.
