Does 720p run fine? I don’t have any videos in 1080p so 1080p doesn’t really matter to me.

I just received the Ramos T17HD and it handles subtitles just fine. Works great with MKV, although it is a bit less powerful than the T11TE. Heavy 1080p videos are less smooth and WMV files aren't supported. Expect a full review soon.

What would you recommend as a portable anime player without conversion, if the subtitles on this player are quite random?

My T11TE did’t come with that wallpaper, but with pictures of flowers and stuff. Seems like the background only exists in early product images.

I was going to get this one but ended up getting the T12HD. Hey, you wouldn’t happen to still have the original wallpaper that came on the T11TE, would you? (this one: http://www.jiongtang.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/T11TE-RE-20.jpg) I’ve been looking for it everywhere! Could you possibly upload it somewhere (like imageshack)?
